Do you think it is misticism of my part, coincidence or God's warning?

Q:

Do you think it is misticism of my part, coincidence or God's warning? This week, I thought about my aunt (who is dear to me) and I resolved to visit her. 5 minutes later, my mother calls me to say she was brought to ICU for an incident. The same way, I dreamed my grandmother was pretty sad 1 month before she passed. This dream made me pay more attention to her in her last days. And even at the day she passed, I looked at the watch in an specific time and felt "many trials are coming". Later that day, I discovered she passed at that exact minute. Or even when I am feeling bad, my mother, who lives in another house, calls me and says she feels I am struggling with something. What of the three options are true?

A:

Personally, I don’t think what you’ve described is just a coincidence or a figment of your imagination; it feels more like God gently reminding you.

God often speaks in very quiet, personal ways—especially through our relationships with those we love. Sometimes, He places someone on our hearts, prompting us to reach out to them, or causing us to feel inexplicable emotions and premonitions.

I believe God also uses the people around us—those we love, those who love us, and those who pray for us—to watch over us spiritually. In a sense, they become one of the ways God cares for and guides us.

This is also a reminder: Jesus has risen and is always with us, continually watching over and protecting us.

Therefore, we need not fear these experiences; instead, we can view them with discernment and gratitude, while continuing to draw near to God and remain rooted in His Word.
